My Background

Money shouldn’t feel overwhelming. It shouldn’t be a source of shame, guilt, or confusion.

For more than a decade, I worked in financial planning, guiding people through complex systems, paperwork, and products. But what I discovered is that most people don’t need more jargon — they need clarity.

Today, as the founder of The Simple Budget, I help individuals, families, small business owners, and community organisations across Logan, Brisbane, Ipswich, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, regional Queensland and beyond through workshops, mentoring, and online programs.

I don’t lecture or overwhelm people with numbers. I meet them where they are, whether in person or online, and together, we build a system that works for real life.

I’m not a licensed financial planner or accountant. Everything I teach is educational and designed to give people the tools and confidence to manage their own money. For personal financial advice, I always recommend working with a qualified financial planner or other professional.

Why I Do This

I live what I teach. The same budgeting system I’ve shared with thousands of Australians is the one I use in my own life.

I know what it’s like to juggle bills, cash flow, and uncertainty — and I know the peace of mind that comes when a solid plan is in place.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating financial stability that allows people to breathe, plan, and build a future with confidence.

Collaboration is at the heart of what I do. I work with councils, libraries, schools, community organisations, NDIS providers, and small businesses across South East Queensland and throughout Australia.

I support organisations by delivering proven financial literacy workshops and mentoring programs that are practical and measurable. I also provide letters of support for grant funding and offer flexible delivery — online, in-person, or hybrid — so no matter where a group is based, they can access quality financial education.

With more than 10,000 budgets delivered nationwide, these programs are designed to create real impact in communities.

My programs are accessible online Australia-wide and can also be delivered in person across South East Queensland and beyond.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Planning and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. After more than ten years in the financial services industry, I realised my passion wasn’t in financial products — it was in teaching real-world money skills that people can actually use.

Based in Logan, Queensland, I’ve supported more than 10,000 Australians to organise their money and build confidence. Through hands-on mentoring, online programs, and workshops delivered nationwide, I help people make sense of their finances in a way that’s friendly, practical, and judgment-free.
